Description | Gielinor is not the safest place to live – dragons, trolls, demons… dangerous and despicable monsters of all sorts roam free. In this quest, you must help a fellow adventurer that doesn’t do so well against these threats. With perseverance and the magical help of the Moon Clan, there should be no monster that can’t be beaten. But is that really true? How about the monsters in your dreams? How about your own inescapable fears? How would you defeat them? Well, you’ll soon find out as a tough and often bizarre quest awaits those of a strong will! |

Quest Guide:
- Speak to the Oneiromancer, located in the Lunar Isle, to start the quest.
- Travel to the Abyss and speak to the NPC located there.
- Travel to Turael, the Slayer master in Burthorpe, to obtain a dream vial.
- Travel to the tree in the Gnome Stronghold and use the dream vial on it to enter the dream world.
- Follow the path in the dream world, and speak to the NPCs along the way to receive instructions and advice.
- Cut a branch from the tree in the dream world using a rune or dragon axe (if woodcutting level is less than 60).
- Speak to the NPC at the end of the path to enter the final dream sequence.
- Defeat the monsters in the final dream sequence, using the combat gear and runes you brought with you.
- Speak to the Oneiromancer to complete the quest.
Rewards:
- 15,000 Magic and Defence experience
- Ability to use the Lunar spells “Cure Other” and “Humidify”
- Access to the Lunar Isle bank
- Ability to buy and wield a new weapon, the “Staff of the Dreams”
- Ability to fight the Nightmare Zone boss, after completing the mini-quest “Dream Mentor (Part 2)”.
Overall, the ‘Dream Mentor’ quest in OSRS requires a number of skills and items, as well as completion of several other quests. However, the rewards are well worth the effort, as the quest provides significant experience and unlocks new abilities and items for the player.
